Geography favourite to win staff 5-a-side league

At the Easter break, ASAT from the Geography Department look firm favourites to win the University Staff five-a-side league as their nearest challengers Chemistry suffered two defeats in the last week of fixtures.

The Knockout cup is also nearing its conclusion. Chembridge Utd are the first team through to the semi finals with a hard fought 2-1 win over the NHS Snowmen from the NHS estates offices on the Science site. The race for the league top goalscorer is a close run affair. Barry Frost from Estates Utd is in front with 40 goals with Paul Blyth from University Library and Dave Nettleton of 3f just a few goals behind him.
