Conservation Kintso 2002

(7 February 2002)

Six Durham undergraduate students join a research expedition for the conservation of reptile and mammal communities to Madagascar this summer.

In addition to their contribution towards conservation in the Foret de Ifotaka they will gain experience in biodiversity assessment, working alongside Malagasy students. The Expedition has been awarded 'University of Durham' status and a grant of £3,000 by the Sub-committee on University Expeditions. The British and Foreign School Society (via its Sarah Walker Legacy Fund) is a major benefactor to the Expeditions Fund.
