A 'sporting' reunion

Over 250 past and present Durham students met recently at the University of Westminster for Durham’s second alumni sports weekend.

As expected the event had many successes, stemming from some very competitive games. However, Durham’s famous sporting alumni proved too strong at times for some present Durham students with the overall results for the weekend favouring the Alumni for the second year running. The event included two new sports this year in the form of canoe polo and ultimate Frisbee. Ultimate Frisbee teams impressed all with their fitness and mobility, in a match lasting 3 hours.
