Cartographic Associate Editor of the Journal of Maps

Congratulations to Mr Chris Orton from the Cartographic Unit within the Department who has recently been requested to join the Editorial Board of the Journal of Maps as a Cartographic Associate Editor.

As a non-academic member of staff Chris has a dedication and enthusiasm for maps shown by his co-authoring of a paper in the Journal of Maps which has led to this prestigious offer being made. Chris will be required to peer review maps for the Journal as well as supporting and promoting the Journal to fulfil his role.

The Journal is an inter-disciplinary online, electronic, journal that aims to provide a forum for researchers to publish maps and spatial diagrams.
