New History of Art Modules Launched

The School of Education are delighted to annouce two new modules have been added to the highly success History of Art programme.
Anthony Parton and Hazel Donkin who have organized the two new modules, and who are responsible for the undergraduate Art History programme, said "We are looking forwards to working in partnership with the wider artistic community and to enhancing the employment prospects of our students."
"Both modules are likely to be enormously popular and they will take their place alongside the existing, and already highly successful Art History modules that the School of Education offers to Combined and Single Honours students from across the university."
The two new modules, a second year module called Objects of Desire: Oriental Art and Its Meanings and a third year module entitled The Work of Art: Professional Skills and Work Placement in the Visual arts, will be available from October 2012 for students accross the University.
