Will my first year marks count towards my final degree classification ?
No. You need to pass all your first year modules, but the marks that you obtain do not contribute towards you final degree classification.
If you are taking a B.Sc. degree within Natural Sciences, then the second and third years are weighted in the ratio 2:3.
If you are taking an M.Sci. degree within Natural Sciences, then the second, third and fourth years are weighted in the ratio 2:3:4.
