Answer to a frequently asked question

How much continuous assessment will there be ?

This depends on which modules you take. Each module has its own methods of assessment. The majority are 60-70% examination and 40-30% continuous assessment, but there are modules which put a much greater weight on examinations and modules which have no examinations (such as Dissertation based modules).

To find out how a particular module is assessed, click on the link below and select the subject. From the list of modules in that subject you can click on the module code for any module and look under the 'Summative Assessment' entry to see how that module is assessed. The 'Formative Assessment' entry gives other work that needs to be completed for that module, but it does not count towards the final mark for that module.
