My previous studies include undergraduate work at Trinity University, Texas (BM, 1996) and postgraduate work at the University of Georgia (MM, 1998), where I completed a research project entitled "London, Literature, Dualisms, and Dancing: Extramusical Interpretations of Gustav Holst's Hammersmith for Wind Band." More recently, I completed a Masters in Church Music at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I currently teach music courses and lead ensembles at The College at Southeastern, Wake Forest, North Carolina, while continuing my PhD studies.
