Biography
I am a PhD student at Durham University pursuing research in music theology. My previous studies include undergraduate work at Trinity University, Texas (BM, 1996) and postgraduate work at the University of Georgia (MM, 1998), where I completed a research project entitled "London, Literature, Dualisms, and Dancing: Extramusical Interpretations of Gustav Holst's Hammersmith for Wind Band." More recently, I completed a Masters in Church Music at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I currently teach music courses and lead ensembles at The College at Southeastern, Wake Forest, North Carolina, while continuing my PhD studies.
