Durham research student awarded Link 2 Future prize

On 10th December 2011 Durham music research student Sebastian Wedler was awarded the Link 2 Future prize, a young researcher award given by the Psychoanalytic Institute Zurich (PSZ) for his essay 'Der „Anti-Ödipus" als Impetus für eine dekonstruktivistische Musikästhetik. Versuch eines Beitrags zu einer Kritischen Theorie der Musik aus (post)strukturell psychoanalytischer Perspektive' ['The 'Anti-Oedipus' as Impetus of Deconstructive Aesthetics of Music: Attempt at an Input to Critical Theory of Music From a (Post)structural Psychoanalytical View'].
The essay will be published in 2012 in the Festschrift for Professor Rudolf Heinz.
