Dr Patrick Zuk receives Excellence in Teaching and Learning Award

Dr Patrick Zuk is to receive one of Durham University's prestigious Excellence in Teaching and Learning Awards in recognition of his outstanding contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the Music Department.

According to the nomination guidelines, the recipients must demonstrate an exceptional ability to stimulate and inspire research-led learning. Dr Zuk currently teaches modules on Russian/Soviet music and Musical Techniques on the undergraduate BA programme. He has recently returned from Moscow, where he was an invited speaker at a major international conference dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of Sergey Prokofiev, which was held at the Moscow Conservatoire.
