The Oriental Museum

Welcome to Durham University Museums!

Durham University is home to two very different museums: the Oriental Museum and the Old Fulling Mill Museum of Archaeology. 

Through their internationally important collections, the University Museums offer insights into local history and archaeology, as well as the history and material culture of Ancient Egypt, China, Japan and the other great cultures of Asia and North Africa.
