Academic qualifications


In accordance with the University and Programme core regulations, students would be able to leave the course with:


a.   Postgraduate Certificate in Translation Studies (60 Credits): candidates must obtain a Pass mark or above in the following core modules: Translation Theory and one Specialised Translation module.


b.   Postgraduate Diploma in Translation Studies (120 Credits): candidates must obtain a Pass mark or above in the following core modules: Translation Theory, one Specialised Translation module; and in modules to the value of 60 credits from: Translation Studies Dissertation, Extended Translation Project, Translation Project <> first language, Translation Project <> second language, Translation and Technology.


c.   MA in Translation Studies (180 Credits): candidates must obtain a Pass mark or above in all the core and optional modules that have been taken.
