The Centre for Foreign Language Study (CFLS) offers four ways to learn or practise a foreign language:

• The Languages for All programme: extra-curricular language classes open to students, staff and members of the public
• The Undergraduate Module programme: credit bearing modules open to non language specialist students (i.e. those with pre-A level or no language qualifications at all)
• The Postgraduate modules: a few credit bearing modules are available for postgraduate students requiring the reading knowledge of a language for research purposes 
• The Open Access Centre: a multi-media resource centre for language study and practice
