Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Pure Mathematics

You will have an excellent research record in an area of Pure Mathematics; preference may be given to candidates whose research areas which are compatible with existing interests of the Pure Mathematics unit. You will be expected to make a substantial commitment to the research activities of the Pure Mathematics Group, and to undertake teaching and administrative duties as assigned by the Board of Studies of Mathematical Sciences.
Appointment is potentially available at Lecturer level (grade 7 or grade 8) or for appropriately experienced candidates, at Senior Lecturer level (grade 9). Candidates should indicate in their covering letter whether they are applying for Lecturer or Senior Lecturer. Informal enquiries prior to making a formal application are welcomed.
The post is subject to standard probationary terms. Further information will be issued in the contract of employment.
