The Sixth Durham Blackboard Users' Conference will take place on Thursday the 15th and Friday the 16th December 2005. For this year's event we have particularly encouraged submissions on the following themes:
We have just posted the confirmed Programme outlining the structure of this two day event.
We
are delighted to announce that Prof. Gilly Salmon
will be giving the keynote speech by live video-conference. She
describes her talk, entitled "Beyond Blackboard...around
the world in one sleigh ride" as an exploration of
the extraordinary position of e-learning as 2005 comes to a close,
and how we need to unpack the wrapped box and make it our very own
...a chance to strategize and vision in a seasonal sort of way.
We have also posted an outline of the delegate presentations that will be given during the Conference in our Papers section. We have also given a link to the Blackboard Connections site where a copy of these presentations exist for you to view.
Registration is now closed. Enquiries should be directed to Durham University's Conference and Tourism Office.
