The 5th annual Durham Blackboard Conference will be held on December the 16th and 17th, 2004. This year's theme is 'Interactive Blackboard'; and there is a varied programme of papers and demonstrations given by learning technologists, FE and HE practitioners, systems administrators and library professionals. The conference will celebrate both our community of practice and the deeper embedding of Blackboard within our learning and teaching.
Information for Delegates - updated
There is a page of general information for delegates and further information for speakers and sponsors here. This includes some travel links and taxi numbers.
There will be parallel sessions, to allow delegates to select the conference path most appropriate to them. You will be able to hear at least seven papers. The list of accepted papers is now available, and a programme.
We are delighted to announce that the keynote speaker will be Lord (Ron) Dearing, Chairman of the Higher Education Policy Institute.
The new JISC UK Building Block Developers List will be launched at the Conference - including details of a collaborative project to get you started.
The Learning Technologies Team at Durham would like to invite a small selection of new Blackboard users attending the conference for the first time to lunch. This will be from 12 noon on Thursday the 16th - just before proceedings start. Invitations will be emailed to delegates.
There will be staff from Blackboard on hand throughout the conference to answer your questions and listen to your suggestions...
