Changes to GradeMark
Turnitin have recently made two changes to the processes in GradeMark to assist with marking papers.
Striking out text
A popular feature that has returned to GradeMark is the ability for instructors to cross out text on a student paper. Select some text, then hit the backspace or delete key. Strikethroughs added to a paper will also appear on the instructor’s sidebar Comments List. They can be deleted by hovering over until the dustbin appears.
Easier Rubric Viewing and Scoring
It is now easier for instructors to view and score papers using rubrics. While viewing a paper in the GradeMark Document Viewer, instructors can click the arrows icon at the left of the rubric name and see the full text of a rubric they previously set up using the Rubric Manager . The expanded rubric opens in a new browser window and the instructor can then click on the relevant rubric cells to score a student’s paper.
