Middle East Documentation Unit

The Middle East Documentation Unit (MEDU) is a collection of primary source documents on the economy, politics and society of the contemporary Middle East.

The collection mainly consists of government publications, statistical data sources, documents issued by political entities, non-governmental organizations and intergovernmental organizations from the MIddle East (including the Arabic speaking world, Israel, Iran, Turkey as well as other countries which have a close geogrpahic, cultural and historical relationship with the Middle East).  The documents are primarily in English, Arabic, French, Turkish, Persian, and Hebrew.

The collection is of relevance to researchers and others who have an interest in the economics, politics and development issues in the Middle East,  Arab-Israeli conflict, international relations and international organizations, industrial developments.
