European Documentation Centre

The European Documentation Centre is part of the University Library, housing an extensive collection of publications and documents of the European Union, and has two responsibilities:

• To support teaching and research on all EU matters within the University of Durham including centres such as the European Law Institute, and to give access to EU information for other higher education within the region;
• To give access to essential EU legislation and other information to the local community, in conjunction with other European information relays.
