MEDU Contents

The Middle East Documentation Unit contains over 200,000 one-off or serial publications and 500 current journals. Publications include: 

• Statistical Yearbooks of Middle Eastern Governments, providing data on GDP, public spending, prices, housing, population and other subjects.
• Specialised statistical publications, giving information on a single subject such as education or health.
• Annual Reports of Central Banks and Government Ministries.
• Annual Reports of Middle Eastern banks, oil companies and other companies.
• Newsletters reflecting the views of parties and pressure groups in the Middle East.
• Publications of Regional Organisations in the Middle East, such as the Arab Monetary Fund and Arab League.
• Reports published by International Agencies (such as the United Nations) on the Middle East.
• News Magazines on the Middle East Region, published both in the Middle East and in the West.
• Working Papers and Conference Papers on Middle Eastern Issues.
