+How do I open or view a downloaded file with a '.pdf' file extension?

To view a pdf file (pdf stands for portable document format) your PC must have a suitable viewer installed. In most cases the Acrobat reader made available by Adobe is recommended. The Adobe software will be automatically installed on Durham PCs.
