Business School Library

Background

Durham Business School's Mill Hill Lane site in Durham city will be undergoing a £16.6million rebuilding and extension. The redevelopment at Mill Hill Lane includes construction of a major new extension which will include seminar rooms, offices and catering facilities. The plans also include alterations to existing buildings to create lecture rooms, seminar rooms, a library, IT laboratories and offices. The redevelopment of Durham Business School is expected to take two years.

Ushaw College, a former Catholic seminary lying in beautiful grounds about four miles west of Durham, will be home to the Business School whilst the work takes place. The majority of Business School staff and students will be moving to Ushaw, including the MBA programme, with other staff and students relocating to existing University premises in Durham city.

The Business School Library moves to Ushaw College

The Business School Library will be moving to Ushaw College to support Durham Business School during the redevelopment. The Business School Library at Mill Hill Lane will close on Friday 23 March 2012 at 17:00. This will enable the stock, shelving and computer services to be moved to their new location at Ushaw College.

The Business School Library will reopen on Monday 16 April at Ushaw College, where it will be situated adjacent to the College refectory. The Business School Library's opening hours at Ushaw College will be 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
