Using the catalogue
The Library Catalogue can be consulted at computer terminals throughout the Library. It is also accessible on the internet throughout the University network and across the world. We have an online tutorial giving a quick introduction to basic catalogue searching.
The catalogue includes a large proportion of the stock located in the Bill Bryson Library and in Palace Green Library, and all the stock of the Leazes Road Library and Queen's Campus Library, Stockton. For details of excluded material, see Chief exclusions from the Library Catalogue.

Reading Lists
Using the catalogue you can check to see which items are Essential on your reading lists. These are kept in the Short Loan Collection. You can search for lists of material placed in this collection by department or lecturer.
