Durham Clayport Library in Millennium Place, Durham City, Local History Collection

The collection covers all the old county of Durham, although in making new acquisitions it now concentrates on the current administrative area. It includes printed items, maps, topographical prints. Access is also available there to The Durham Record, a database containing a collection of digitized photographs, together with some series of Ordnance Survey maps for Co. Durham, and the county Sites and Monuments Record, and to genealogical material such as the St Catherine's House index and 1901 Census.
