Treasures of Durham University

Discover some of the greatest treasures of the collections of Durham University.

This exhibition features a small display marking the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible. The display will  draw from our rich collections and focus on Bibles from the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries.   

RESTORATION: How one man changed Durham

30 June to 31 December 2012

Celebrating the life of John Cosin; the seventeenth century Bishop of Durham whose mark on the city can clearly be seen over three hundred years later. This exhibition coincides with the end of a major restoration project in Cosin's 1669 Library.
