ASC Collections information

Durham University Library Archives and Special Collections contains material in different formats, including archives, manuscripts, printed books, photographs, maps and films. The format of a collection may affect how it is stored and catalogued. Broadly, printed collections are catalogued on the Library catalogue, while manuscripts and photographs are catalogued in the archive catalogue. Nevertheless, many archives contain printed items, and most collections contain material in more than one format.
