Academic Peer Mentoring Network
The Academic Peer Mentoring Network was set up to fulfill four main goals:

To enhance the skills of those people already engaged in managing and/or supporting staff through a coaching and mentoring approach.

To provide a confidential support network for each other for dealing with specific coaching issues via actionlearning and sharing best practice.

To encourage network members to gain further expertise within the mentoring arena (eg. through possibly completing an intensive mentoring skills course.

To form a group of "mentors" who could support staff both within and outside their own team/department across Durham University.
