The University is a large, complex and unique environment to work in. Its diversity comes from the nature of the services it delivers, from within academic departments and faculties ranging from music to chemistry, law to engineering the provision of the underpinning support is paramount to the holistic delivery.
The Change Network
Provides an opportunity for staff from across the University to get involved in improving the way we work.
Coaching and Mentoring Network
The network aims to form a group of “coaches” who could support staff both within and outside their own team or department across Durham University.
Communications Network
The Network is a forum for sharing challenges and problems and, crucially, for helping one another find solutions to these and to identify areas to link departmental activities with those of other departments.
LGBT Staff Network
A network to bring together LGBT staff, promoting diversity and sharing information.
Professional and Support Staff (PASS) Network
The network is a means to bring administrative staff together to disseminate information and support their service throughout the University.
Project Management Network (PMN)
Provides an informal forum for persons involved in project management in Durham University to identify, share and promote good practice.
Research Administrators’ Network
Implemented as a means to uphold good communication between research administration staff across the University, allowing opportunities to disseminate information and share best practice.
Staff Volunteering Network
An opportunity for Durham University staff to engage with local community organisations and enables these groups to work in partnership with the University
