1.2.7: Procedure for the Forwarding of UCAS Applications between Departments

1. An agreement must be reached between the relevant Departmental Selectors, that applications from candidates meeting certain, pre-determined criteria who cannot be made an offer by the original department will be forwarded to the other relevant programme for consideration.

2. UCAS applications of applicants to be referred shall be sent direct by the department to the second department, or in the case of a Durham Department to one at Queen's Campus, to the Student Recruitment and Admissions Office.

3. If the second Selector wishes to make an offer then they will contact the applicant with details of the change of course in order to seek agreement of the change.
