Mature Students
Durham Law School welcomes applications from mature students. Please submit any general enquiries to Undergraduate Admissions. Do note that we are unable to give pre-application advice on your chances of success in applying to the LLB. This is because the strength of an application can only be reliably determined by a holistic assessment of the entire UCAS form and candidate's performance in the National Admissions Test for Law (which it is compulsory for mature students to take).
We welcome applications from mature students for the Foundation Programme. Successful completion of the Direct Progression Programme will allow you to progress onto a law degree with an additional year of study. The Direct Progression Programme is suitable for those with few or no formal qualifications, or those who took their qualifications some time ago. Life skills are considered highly desirable. There is no upper age limit for applicants. Details of the Foundation Programme.
