The College System

The University of Durham is a collegiate university. When you apply for the LLB or any other degree within the University you will be able to apply to the college of your choice. All of your academic work takes place within the Law School and the surrounding lecture halls. Your college will be your own space to live, eat, sleep, socialize and meet other students from many departments within the University. Please note there is not a specific college for law students; all of the colleges contain an equal proportion of mixed degree students from all over the University.
