Biography
Ziwei Zheng is a PhD candidate in the School of Law, Durham University. He obtained his LLM in International Commercial and Trade Law from Durham University in 2009.
Current Research
Ziwei Zheng's research focuses on the legal protection of minority shareholders in China and associated corporate governance issues. His is a comparative study of the United Kingdom, United States, selected European and Chinese approaches to the protection of minority shareholders. The objective is to contribute to the debate about how corporate governance in China might be improved. Ziwei's dissertation is being supervised by Professors Roman Tomasic and Christian Witting.
