Biography
Philipp began his PhD research at the University of Durham in October 2010. He graduated with an LLM in Law from the University of Durham in 2010. After sudying German and European Law at the Universities of Würzburg (Germany), Leuven (Belgium) and Freiburg (Germany), Philipp graduated from the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg (First State Examination) in 2009 and obtained the additional title "Europajurist".
Current Research
With the supervision of Professor Roman Tomasic and Professor Christian Witting, Philipp's current research explores the role of European law in the field of corporate governance. The comparative work is focused on the effects of European measures on the corporate governance systems in Germany and the United Kingdom.
