Durham Law academic invited to give prestigious international seminar

In late October 2011 Durham Law School's Dr James Sweeney was invited to speak at the Institute for the Study of Political Economy and Law (IPEL), which is part of the International University College of Turin.  Dr Sweeney, who is also Deputy Director of Durham Global Security Institute, gave a paper on 'Restorative Justice and Transitional Justice at the ECHR'.  Dr Sweeney enjoyed the visit, and looks forward to pursuing further links with IPEL in the future.
