Peer Reviewing Guidelines
All articles deemed by the editorial board to be in keeping with the current theme, standard and ethos of the journal will be forwarded to peer-reviewers. These submissions will go through a rigorous double blind peer-reviewing process, as detailed in the Editing Process and Timeline.
Peer Reviewers
Kaleidoscope draws on a pool of peer-reviewers from the research postgraduate community at Durham and externally. If you are interested in becoming a peer-reviewer, please email editor.kaleidoscope@durham.ac.uk with a current Curriculum Vitae specifying your research specialisms and interests.
For current peer-reviewers, we have developed an information pack. This includes advice on how to annotate documents, feedback forms, and general guidance on the reviewing process. Please ensure you download and read the Peer Review Information Pack before starting to peer-review any submissions.
Proof Readers
As well as being peer-reviewed and copy-edited, Kaleidoscope is also proof-read by a team of readers, before being sent to a professional academic publisher, Gylphi, to be typeset. If you would like to join our pool of proof readers, please email editor.kaleidoscope@durham.ac.uk.
