John Snow College

The JCR

“As John Snow College Junior Common Room (JCR for short!) President I am accountable for heading a team of elected officers in organising and overseeing everything outside of our students’ academic degrees. It's the JCR's responsibility to look after all college sports, arts, societies and events such as our fantastic student nights out, annual events including our Formal Dinners and our incredible winter and summer balls. As a Durham applied psychology graduate I have spent three years as a student at John Snow and I'm incredibly proud and honoured to have been given the chance to work for another year as JCR President - the JCR is incredibly important to the student experience here at Durham University and John Snow College.

Best Wishes,

Saleenah Gafoor
