John Snow College opened in 2001. The College, together with Stephenson College, brings the University's distinctive traditional college system to the modern, eye-catching environment of the University's Queen's Campus in Stockton-on-Tees.

Innovative architecture combines with landmarks of Stockton's maritime past here in the University's location on the south bank of the River Tees - a magnificent stretch of water above the Tees River Barrage, providing the venue for major rowing, triathlon and other sporting events.
