ITS webmail service
The email delivery service run by ITS is based onon Microsoft Exchange. The webmail product used to access this is known as Outlook Web Access (OWA).
Mitre users and some departments have their email delivered to non ITS servers.
*** IMPORTANT *** The Unix (Sendmail) Service was withdrawn as an email service for personal accounts on 1st September 2009 and is now only available for a few 'non-personal' accounts. The IMP webmail service was withdrawn on July 27th 2009.

Outlook Web Access (OWA)
Outlook Web Access (OWA) is a web based version of Microsoft Outlook and offers many of the features of Outlook to online users. This service is only available to users who have their email hosted on the Durham Exchange Service.
OWA is usable on most web browsers but has a number of advanced features which are only available via Internet Explorer 6 and above.
