I was born
in Thessaloniki, Greece. I studied mathematics in
the University of Thessaloniki
and the University of
Southampton. After my
PhD I worked in the Computer
Laboratory of the University of Cambridge, the Max-Planck-Institut
für
Informatik in Saarbrücken, Germany, and the Department of
Creative Computing in Coventry
University. Currently I am a lecturer in the Department of Computer
Science of Durham University. My research is in Multiresolution Geometry and Geometric Modeling. In particular, I am interested in subdivision surfaces, mesh encoding and applying statistical learning methods in surface reconstruction.
