Hong Kong Scholarship 2013

The International Office is offering two merit-based scholarships of £3,000 to students from Hong Kong accepted for full-time admissions on an undergraduate course at Durham University in 2013.

The scholarship is a one time discount towards the applicant’s first year’s tuition fees.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  1. Be living and studying in Hong Kong
  2. Be studying under the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE)
  3. Be considered ‘Overseas’ for fee purposes
  4. Be holding Durham University as their ‘firm’ choice through UCAS
  5. Satisfy the admission requirements of their chosen undergraduate course, including English Language proficiency
  6. Be intending to start their course in October 2013

Application Process:

The application process will open on 4 March 2013. Applicants are required to download the following pdf and submit it to kristi.mcfarland@durham.ac.uk. (http://www.dur.ac.uk/resources/international/HongKongScholarship2013-Application.docx)

Applications will close on 1 June 2013. The International Office will review applications and will make a final assessment after 15 July 2013 when HKDSE results have been released.

Successful applicants will be notified by 30 July 2013.
