Getting Around Durham
By bus

Durham University has colleges, departments and schools located throughout scenic Durham City. All these locations are easily accessible by walking and can be found on the University's city map as well as County Durham's visitor attraction map.

A taxi can take you to any College or Durham city location within 5-10 minutes.
Travelling between Durham and Stockton
An inter-campus bus service is available for all students and staff travelling between Durham and Queen's Campus, Stockton when they show their ID card to the driver. This is a half hourly service during the day time and evening Monday to Saturday and an hourly service available on Sundays. Students and staff can travel on the public X1 Arriva service FREE.
