Each College provides their own unique induction programme and so you should check with your college what activities they have arranged for your first few weeks at University.

The international office offers a day of induction activities that may be of particular interest to international students. This usually includes an international student fair attended by local banks, student societies, and organisations which may be of particular interest to international students, as well as a welcome event attended by the Vice-Chancellor of the University and the Mayor of Durham. More information about the international office induction programme will be posted on the university website closer to the start of term.

The International Students Association usually arranges an international student party in the first few days too.
