We recommend that you do not bring too much luggage as many airlines will charge you a fee for additional luggage and excess baggage charges can be very high.

There are a large variety of incompatible plugs in use to connect electrical equipment. For safety reasons, adaptors are not allowed in the residences. You should not bring any electrical appliance with you if it requires an adaptor to use in the UK. Some electrical equipment, such as a computer lap top, mobile phone etc. has a separate cable for connecting to the electrical supply. It is possible to buy a cable in the UK for these items.
