Extra-curricula activities are an integral part of College life. It is estimated that over 90% of students participate at some level in extra curricular activities within the University

Many of our colleges have their own orchestras, bands and choirs and provide opportunities for all students to showcase their musical talents through concerts, recitals and "battle of the bands" competitions.

Colleges also have their own drama societies that perform regularly in college or in the University's Assembly Rooms theatre. Many also provide art room facilities; and colleges such as Grey College in Durham and Stephenson College in Stockton regularly host exhibitions by local artists.

Whatever your sport, hobby or pastime, you will find opportunities to participate at all levels, from complete beginner to expert.
