Durham University Nigerian Alumni Association Inaugural Event

The Durham University Nigerian Alumni Association organised their first event at the Radisson Hotel on Victoria Island, Lagos on 16 June 2012. This coincided with a recruitment visit to Nigeria by the International Office and Foundation Centre. Sharne Procter, the International Director was invited to present on ‘Durham University – Past and Present’ to the ensembled group, which included distinguished guest, Dr Keziah Awosika, Director of the Women, Law and Development Centre Nigeria who graduated from St Marys in 1962! This was followed by dinner where a lively discussion took place over the ambitions of the Association and of course, fond memories of Durham.
