Middle East and West Asia
Durham University’s Middle East and West Asia Regional Interest Group brings together the University’s many academics and researchers who have interests in the region. Serving as a bridge between schools, departments, and centres, the Group meets on a termly basis to discuss the university’s opportunities for collaboration with academics and institutions in the region, including the winning of research grants and the facilitating of staff and student exchange programmes.
The pages on this website serve as the Group’s primary repository for information, including announcements of conferences and funding opportunities, along with other relevant news items. Members of Durham University who have a link to this area and wish to become a member of the MEWA Regional Interest Group are encouraged to either complete the survey of regional interest form available at the below link, or contact Libby Wood for more details.
