Extending Your Study

If you have been granted a concession to extend your studies to complete your current programme of study and your visa is due to expire before your new course end date, you will then need to extend your visa.

You will also need to request a new CAS. Once you have requested your CAS, we will process your CAS and email you a confirmation once this is done.

In addition, you are advised to attend one of our visa workshops. At the Tier 4 workshop, we will explain the application process, the evidence you will need and how to complete the application form. We will discuss how to apply; in person or by post, and other important information you need to know before and after you apply.

Once you have attended the Workshop, you will be offered one individual 30 minutes appointment with an Immigration Advisor.  At your appointment, the Advisor will check your completed application form, give guidance on additional documents required and advise what action is needed before you make your application. You will be emailed with your appointment details soon after the workshop.
