Islam, Law and Modernity (ILM) has been established with the purpose of providing an exciting and stimulating environment for research, discussion and commentary on a variety of social, political and legal issues relating to the Islamic world. The site is intended to support the purpose of ILM by providing a source for interested individuals to review topical issues and up-to-date commentaries; promoting ILM amongst other academic and judicial, cultural and governmental communities; advertising the ILM's aims and objectives; providing ease of disseminating relevant information regarding conferences and symposiums and other organised events.
