Ideas Exchange - Vulnerabilities and Resilience Theme

Professor Lena Dominelli, the recently appointed Director of the theme of ‘Vulnerabilities and Resilience’ at the Institute of Hazard and Risk Research would like to invite all academic staff, research associates and postgraduates to an ‘Ideas Exchange’ on this theme.

The aim is to initiate some new Programmes of Work under this theme and to find out who in the university would be interested in championing some of these initiatives. Lena is very keen to explore any ideas that participants may wish to pursue. Her own interests currently revolve around thinking of new ways of conceptualising vulnerabilities and examining these in interdisciplinary ways across the life-span with community involvement.
