Institute of Hazard and Risk Launch Event

The Launch Event for the Institute of Hazard and Risk Research will take place on Thursday May 8th in the Calman Learning Centre. Proceedings will commence at 12.30 and will include a welcome from the VC, presentations of current research from members of IHRR staff, lunch and an opportunity to view displays of IHRR work. Please note that attendance at this event is by invitation.

The programme for the day will be as follows: 12.30 Welcome from the VC 13.00-14.00 Lunch 14.00-15.30 Presentations of IHRR work 15.30-17.00 Refreshments and displays of IHRR work with an opportunity to engage in some interactive activities 17.00-18.00 Public lecture 18.00-19.00 Drinks reception 19.00 approx Close
